How We Were
Built Different

Pro Stylez Entertainment didn't start at an event. It started with a love of music — and a pair of founders who couldn't stop building things with it.

Long before the company existed, Marc Cocco and Lucas Spann were running Pro Stylez Radio — a fully produced online radio station launched during the dawn of internet broadcasting. Marc was designing websites, engineering the stream, and programming the station. Lucas, a graduate of the New School of Radio and Television, produced the sweepers and station IDs that gave the station its professional sound — even recruiting classmates to contribute audio work. Real broadcasting, built from scratch, before streaming was mainstream.

That obsession never left. But the stage was about to get a lot bigger.

In early 2018, Lucas wanted to get back into DJing — and Marc had been thinking about it too. Marc brought his background running The Cocco Group and Spider Hosting, his own digital marketing and web businesses, to the table. He had business experience. What he didn't have yet was entertainment experience — and he knew it. So he did what he always does: researched everything.

That research led to two pivotal discoveries. First, Joe Bunn at The DJ's Vault — a resource that unlocked an entire new level of professionalism and business structure for the company. Second, DJ Barr on YouTube, whose approach to wedding setups and early operations became direct inspiration for how Pro Stylez built its wedding rig and client experience from day one.

After months of research, planning, and preparation, Pro Stylez Entertainment officially launched in the summer of 2018 — opening an office in Colonie, NY. The momentum was real. And then, almost immediately after: COVID-19.

Events canceled. Venues closed. Everything the company had built came to a pause. But Marc's background in healthcare meant the company had a lifeline — and Pro Stylez survived when many didn't. When things slowly started to come back, Pro Stylez came back stronger. Expanded services, deeper client relationships, and a team that had proven it could weather anything.

Today we're trusted by families, businesses, venues, fire departments, schools, and communities across the Capital Region and beyond — and the story is still being written.

Pro Stylez Radio Launches
Marc and Lucas co-create Pro Stylez Radio — a fully produced online station with professional sweepers, station IDs, and broadcast-trained talent. The seed of everything that followed.

the Community

We believe in supporting the places we live and work. Pro Stylez Entertainment actively participates in community events, nonprofit engagements, and local causes — giving back to the Capital Region not just through entertainment, but through real investment in the people and organizations that make this area what it is.

In 2026 we launched our Quarterly Community Giveback Program — donating professional DJ and entertainment services to four deserving community events per year, completely free of charge. We've sponsored local softball leagues, donated to the NYS Park Police PBA for two consecutive years, and served as a trusted entertainment partner for fire departments and EMS organizations across the region.

This is a commitment that only grows over time.
